(poem by Elizabeth Coatsworth)

November comes
And November goes,
With the last red berries
And the first white snows.

With night coming early,
And dawn coming late,
And ice in the bucket
And frost by the gate.

The fires burn
And the kettles sing,
And earth sinks to rest
Until next spring.

Connect with Nature
While November is a time when many plants, insects, and get ready to hibernate there are still plenty of things we can do to MAKE SPACE FOR NATURE during this quieter time. Here is an article we found from Scotland’s Nature Agency, that may help get you started: Make space for Nature: Eleven ways to make space for nature in your life this autumn

& here another article from further afield…
Lift your spirits in November by experiencing the awe of nature
